5.2 Gain Adjustment
Adjustment method of OMR-FF function
Always perform < Initial implementation > before performing the following adjustment items.
CAUTION
1. Always set the same value in the scale model gain of the interpolation axes when OMR-FF function is enabled.
2. Perform the above confirmation of accuracy in G61.1(G8P1)(high-accuracy) mode; use the constant and filter for high-
accuracy mode with OMR-FF function.
Note that only #2010: fwd-g (Feed forward gain) will be disabled.
3. When the setting value for SV105 increases, R will decrease, however, overshooting or machine vibration tend to occur
during acceleration/deceleration.
-> Check the acceleration/deceleration waveforms again after setting SV105.

OMR-FF function adjustment start
Set the standard parameters for OMR-FF control
[1] Check the acceleration/deceleration for G01 feed (cutting feed) /
G00 feed (rapid traverse)
<Adjustment parameter> SV106 setting
Normal
*Adjust according to (a), (b) or (c)
(a) Decrease SV106 by "10"
(b) Decrease SV112 by "1000"
(c) Increase the time constant
Measure the following with Waveform measurement
function (Time-series data measurement) on NC Analyzer
- Position droop Overshooting does not occur
- Current feed back Vibration does not occur
when axis stops
[2] Check the roundness
< Adjustment parameters> SV104, SV105 settings
Is the radius error (ΔR)
appropriate?
Increase SV105 by "1000"
Measure the following with Waveform measurement
function (Circular error measurement) on NC Analyzer
- Radius error (dR)
[3] Check the corner accuracy
< Adjustment parameters > SV104, SV105, SV106 settings
Is the corner accuracy
appropriate?
Measure the following with Waveform measurement
function (Arbitrary path measurement) on NC Analyzer
- Position feedback (corner part)
Overshooting /
undershooting (inner rounding) do not occur
When overshooting occurs
*Adjust according to (a), (b) or (c)
(a) Lower the value for SV106.
(b) Lower the value for SV105
when this parameter is set.
(c) Increase the time constant.
When undershooting occurs
* Adjust according to (a) or (b)
(a) Increase the value for SV105
when this parameter is set.
(b) Increase the setting value for
accuracy coefficient.
Completed
In the state where OMR-FF function is enabled
*Perform [1] after setting (a) or (b), and the setting is
completed before a problem occurs
(a) Increase SV106 by "10"
(b) Decrease the time constant
