RL78/G1A CHAPTER 22 SAFETY FUNCTIONS
Cautions 1. Be sure to clear bits 5 and 6 to 0.
2. Select input mode for the ports which are set to analog input with the ADPC and PMC registers,
using the port mode registers 0 to 5, 7, 12, and 15 (PM0 to PM5, PM7, PM12, and PM15).
3. Do not use the ADS register to set the pins which should be set as digital I/O with the A/D port
configuration register (ADPC).
4. Do not use the ADS register to set the pins which should be set as digital I/O with the port mode
control registers 0, 1, 3 to 5, 7, and 12 (PMC0, PMC1, PMC3 to PMC5, PMC7, and PMC12).
5. Only rewrite the value of the ADISS bit while conversion operation is stopped (ADCS = 0, ADCE =
0).
6. If using AV
REFP as the positive reference voltage source of the A/D converter, do not select ANI0
as an A/D conversion channel.
7. If using AV
REFM as the negative reference voltage source of the A/D converter, do not select ANI1
as an A/D conversion channel.
8. When ADISS is 1, the internal reference voltage (1.45 V) cannot be used for the positive reference
voltage. In addition, the first conversion result obtained after setting ADISS to 1 is not available.
For detailed setting flow, see 11.7.4 Setup when temperature sensor output voltage/internal
reference voltage is selected (example for software trigger mode and one-shot conversion mode).
9. If a transition is made to STOP mode or a transition is made to HALT mode during CPU operation
with subsystem clock, do not set ADISS to 1. When ADISS is 1, the A/D converter reference
voltage current (I
ADREF) shown in 29.3.2 Supply current characteristics is added.
