The following table describes how to use the web phone to perform some basic phone
functions.

FEATURE PROCEDURE
Dial a number Click each numeral using the mouse pointer. The number displays on the
screen. Use the “Clear” ( ) button to delete a numeral.
Make a call Dial the number, then press the “Dial/Pick up” ( ) button.
Receive a call When a call is incoming, press the “Dial/Pick up” ( ) button.
End a call Press the “Hang up” ( ) button.
Adjust the speaker
volume
Use the slider on the left of the keypad.
Adjust the microphone
volume
Use the slider on the right of the keypad.
Mute the speakers and
the microphone
Click the Mute button below the keypad.
Use the phone book Click the Phone Book tab to the right of the web phone. The phone book
appears, displaying your contact list. Select what you want to search for (a
name or extension number, for instance) from the drop-down list, enter the
search term in the box and click on the magnifying glass ( ) to search.
You can also arrange the contact list entries by clicking on one of the
headings.
