The system verifies the file systems.
• If the hard drive of the Signaling Server is not partitioned, the file
systems verification process fails. Upon failure, the menu in
Figure 64 appears.

a. Enter a to partition and initialize the hard disk, and to reboot the
Signaling Server.
The system displays the messages:
Partitioning hard disk ...
Hard disk partitioning succeeded.
Creating filesystems ...
Filesystems creation succeeded.
Rebooting system ...
b. The Install Tool banner screen (Figure 63 on page 193)
reappears. Go back to beginning of Step 2. If the hard drive of
the Signaling Server is partitioned, the following system
messages appear.
Filesystems verification succeeded.
c. Confirm or enter the date and time (Figure 65 on page 195).

The filesystems verification failed! (This is normal for a new
system.)
The hard disk must be (re)partitioned and (re)initialized. This will
erase all data on the hard disk. The system will then reboot and
the Install Tool will restart.
