MANUALLY CONFIGURING THE
AUTHENTICATION SERVER
3Com recommends configuring the authentication server through the
provisioning server. See “Configuring the Authentication Server” on
page 19. This appendix describes the tables used when configuring
users or other authentication functions in large quantities (in bulk).
Information on how to bulkload data into the authentication server
database is provided in “Common Commands” on page 315.

This section outlines the text files that are used to configure the
authentication sever.
Any table (text file) not described in this section is not supported.

bridge_map
The bridge_map table links the primary URI to a secondary URI (allowed
bridge) with an authorized line that the secondary URI can receive call on
for the primary URI.

PRIMARY_URI_ID This refers to a unique identification
number for the primary URI.

number for the secondary URI.
