Testing the Keyboard
Use this procedure to check the functionality of each key on the console.
When a key is pressed, its location code is displayed within parentheses. For
example, (00) denotes the upper left-hand ICI key.
1 From Diagnostics menu 1, press 1.
2 Press any key on the console. The display shows the key’s location code,
indicating that the key is functional. Table 11 shows the key location
codes.
3 Press the octothorpe (#) key to exit and return to Diagnostics menu 1.
