Connecting the external music source
Follow these steps to connect the external music source to the BCM1000 jack.
1 Connect the miniature jack of the music source output to the music-on-hold input on the MSC.
Refer to Figure 84.
2 Adjust the volume of the music source to a comfortable level by activating Background Music
and adjusting the volume at the music source.
External music source programming
You must enable Music for callers on Hold and for Background Music through programming.
Refer to the Business Communications Manager Programming Operations Guide for more details.
