ThisisthebestqualityLayer3modesupportedontheXstream.Audiopresent
ontheAinputwillbeencodedandtransmitted.ByusingbothBchannels(i.e.
128or112kbps)reducesthecompressionratiobyhalfandthereforegives
superiorfidelity.SincetwoBchannelsarerequiredhowever,thetransmission
costswouldbedoubl
ed.Iflengthysessionsaretobeperformedoverlong
distances,amodethatrequiresonlyasingleBchannelmaybedesirable.
UseL3Mono128whenmonotransmissionisneeded,transmissioncostsare
secondary,andthefarenddoesnotsupportAAC.

While the Zephyr Classic cannot transmit Layer 3 Mono-128, it can receive audio coded in
this way. Use the L3 Stereo Rcv mode to do so.
