The following table describes the fields in this screen.
21.3 The Log Settings Screen
Use the Log Settings screen to configure where the ZyXEL Device sends logs and
which logs and/or immediate alerts the ZyXEL Device records.
To change your ZyXEL Device’s log settings, click Maintenance > Logs > Log
Settings. The screen appears as shown.

LABEL DESCRIPTION
Display The categories that you select in the Log Settings screen display in the
drop-down list box.
Select a category of logs to view; select All Logs to view logs from all of
the log categories that you selected in the Log Settings page.
Level Select the lowest severity level that you want to view.
Refresh Click this to renew the log screen.
Clear Log Click this to delete all the logs.
# This field is a sequential value and is not associated with a specific entry.
Time This field displays the time the log was recorded.
Facility The log facility allows you to send logs to different files in the syslog
server. Refer to the documentation of your syslog program for more
details.
Level This field displays the severity level of the logs that the device is to send
to this syslog server.
Message This field states the reason for the log.
