Data line to translate an instance that is not imported from a previous analysis:
First (and only) line:
1. Value of the translation to be appli ed in the X-direc tion.
2. Value of the translation to be appli ed in the Y-direc tion.
3. Value of the transla tion to be applied in the Z-direction.
Data lines to translate and/or rotate an instance that is not imported from a previous a nalysis:
First line:
1. Value of the translation to be appli ed in the X-direc tion.
2. Value of the translation to be appli ed in the Y-direc tion.
3. Value of the transla tion to be applied in the Z-direction.
Enter values of zero to apply a pure rotation.
Second line:
1. X-coordinate of point a on the axis of rotation (see Figure 9.19–1).
2. Y-coordinate of point a on the axis o f rotation.
3. Z-coordinate of point a on the axis of rotation.
4. X-coordinate of point b on the axis of rotation.
5. Y-coordinate of point b on the axis of rotation.
6. Z-coordinate of point b on the axis of rotation.
7. Angle of rotation about the axis a–b, in degrees.
If both translation and rotation are specified, translation is app lied before rotat ion.
There are no data lines for an instance that is imported from a previous analysis.
