When a PA is defined, callers are transferred to the PA extension
instead of the intercept extension defined for the mailbox,
port,

trunk.
Callers
who reach an
unamiable
extension configured for PA can be
given the option of leaving a message prior to or instead of being
transferred.
When a
call
reaches the personal assistant, “call announcement” is
automatic. A prompt is played to the personal assistant that
announces the name associated with the mailbox the call is
forwarded from in addition to the reason the call is forwarded

busy
or no answer.
