Field Format Specifications
The number of DTh4F digits expected for each element in the call record is specified in one
of several ways:

A fmed number of digits can be entered directly into the DTh4FINT Table field
description.

The length of an element can refer to the System karneter Table, which controls the
field lengths for the various DTMFINT
field types.
l
The length of a field can be declared to be of variable length with, or without, a
terminating digit that defmes the end of a variable length field.
The syntax for DTMFINF
field formats are as follows The field format definition for each
call record must include the parentheses.
e (FIX, length, fill DTMF digit, lead or trail)

(SYSP, fill DTMF digit, lead or trail)
l
(VAR, terminating DTMF digit)
The following explains the individual items in a field definition.
FIX
Field length is fmed according to the value specified in the field
definition.
Length
Defines a f=ed field length which can have a value from 1 to 16.
Fill DTMF
digit
Specifies the DTMF digit(s) used to fill a ftxed length definition.
Acceptable values are 0 to 9, A to D,

, or R. The fill DTMF digit
defmes the DTMF digit the Toshiba VP System expects the PBX to
use to pad a field that would otherwise not contain enough digits.
Lead or Trail
Specifies whether the fill DT?vfF digit is leading Q or trailing (f).
If a fill digit is required, this defines whether it will be inserted
before (leading) or after (trailing) the significant field digits
SYSP
Specifies that the field length is fmed according to the System
Parameter for that field type:
