EXTERNAL PAGING
INTERFACE
A special transformer-isolated paging port is used to
couple the system to an external paging amplifier.
Relay closure dry-contact points are available at the
ringing port terminal and can be used for controlling
the external paging amplifier during a paging
operation. These contacts close and stay closed
during the time that a paging operation is active to
provide a constant enable signal path for the paging
amplifier.
NOTE:
This paging enable constant closure function
overrides the ring pattern closure provided
when ringing is sent to the paging port. See
