Traveling with Your HP iPAQ
Use the following guidelines when traveling with your HP iPAQ:
Back up your information.
Take a copy of your backup with you on an SD memory card.
Disconnect all external devices.
Take the AC Adapter and AC Charger Adapter with you.
Keep your HP iPAQ in a protective case and keep it in your
carry-on luggage.
For air travel, be sure to turn off the Phone and Bluetooth. To
turn off all wireless features, from the Today screen, tap the
iPAQ Wireless icon in the Command bar, then tap the ALL
OFF button on the iPAQ Wireless screen to turn all wireless
features off.
If you are traveling internationally, be sure you have the plug
adapter appropriate for the country you are visiting.
Note: If you are planning on traveling abroad with your HP
iPAQ, you may need to set up your phone features for
international calling. For this purpose, refer to the information in
Chapter 5, in the section “Using International Roaming.”
