Custom Instruction Op-Codes

During instruction set simulation, pBlazIDE displays the readable output port as shown in
Figure 11-8. The port value can be modified from the graphical interface.
Custom Instruction Op-Codes
The pBlazIDE environment supports the INST directive to force the assembler to generate
a custom in-line instruction op-code. The INST directive is used when adding custom
capabilities to the PicoBlaze reference design. However, adding custom capabilities
requires modifications to PicoBlaze hardware.
