Contrast
Contrast is the difference in brightness between the lightest
and darkest parts of a printed document. You can adjust the
contrast your product will use to send faxes. Adjust according
to how light or dark your document is.
Press
Contrast
on the front panel to compensate for the
brightness or darkness of your faxed document. By pressing
Contrast
repeatedly or using the
Scroll
buttons ( or )
after loading a document, you can choose between LIGHTEN,
PHOTO, DARKEN, or NORMAL. Press
Enter
to save the
selection.
Lighten
works well with dark print.
Photo
is used when faxing photographs or other
documents containing shades of grey.

OTE
:
The Photo setting is only enabled when sending a black
and white fax. If you select the Photo setting and try to fax
documents with colour images, the contrast will be set to
‘NORMAL’ automatically.
Darken
works well with light print or faint pencil markings.
The light image and text on the original document will be
darker on the printed page.
Normal
works well with standard typed or printed
documents.
