Sending a Fax using a Speed Dial Number

Load the document(s) face down into the document
feeder. “DOCUMENT READY” appears in the display.

You can adjust the resolution and the contrast to suit
your fax needs. For details, see page 5.3.

Enter the speed dial number using the number keypad.
You can scroll through the numbers stored in memory
by using the
Scroll
buttons ( or ).

When the desired number appears in the display, press
Enter
.

Press
Start FAX Black
to send a black and white fax or
Start FAX Color
to send a colour fax.
The fax number stored in the speed dial location will be
automatically dialled and the document will be sent
when the remote fax machine answers.
