Clearing Memory
You can selectively clear information stored in your product’s
memory.

Press
Setup
.

Press the
Scroll
buttons ( or ) until you see “7.
MEMORY CLEAR” on the display and then press
Enter
.

Press the
Scroll
buttons ( or ) until you find the
item you want to clear. You can also enter the number of
the desired item.
•
FAX NUMBER/NAME
: your fax number and name
are cleared from memory.
•
DIAL/SCHEDULE
: clears the phonebook numbers,
one-touch, speed dial, or group dial numbers stored in
the memory. Also, all Schedule Job operations
reserved are cancelled.
•
JOURNAL
: clears all records of transmissions and
receptions.
•
DEFAULT SETUP
: restores all settings to their
factory defaults.

Press
Enter
when your choice appears in the display.
The selected item is cleared.

Repeat steps 1 through 4 to clear another item.
