Contrast
Contrast is the difference in brightness between the lightest
and darkest parts of a printed document. You can adjust the
contrast the product will use to copy a document. Adjust it
according to how light or dark your document is.
You can select LIGHTEN, PHOTO, DARKEN or NORMAL.
The LIGHTEN contrast is good for documents containing dark
images. The NORMAL contrast works well with a standard
document. The DARKEN contrast works well with light print
or faint pencil markings. Choose the PHOTO contrast if you
are copying a photograph.
