Dialing by Name allows the caller to reach the intended
mailbox/extension (when the number is not
known) by entering the first 3 or 4 letters of
the mailbox owner's last name. The VPS
identifies all subscribers with that letter
combination and states each name for the
caller. The caller selects the desired
subscriber by entering the appropriate
number.

Direct Mailbox
Access (APT/DPT

allows subscribers to call the VPS and access
their mailbox without entering the mailbox

sent to the VPS by the PBX. The information
and command functions include: Auto
Configuration, Caller ID Call Routing, Caller
Name Announcement (System/Personal),
Direct Mailbox Access, Intercom Paging,
Live Call Screening, Personal Greeting for
Caller ID Two-Way Recording, Two-Way
Transfer.
