Setting up conference calls
1. Either put a call on hold, then dial a second number and wait for it to be picked up. Or,
accept a second incoming call when you already have one in progress.
2. In the screen that appears, tap the Conference button.
3. If the conference connection is successful, the word “Conference” will appear at the top of
the Phone Dialer screen.
4. To add additional people to your conference call, tap the Hold button, enter the number,
and then tap the Resume button to return and continue.
Making notes during a call
Regardless of whether you call from the Phone Dialer, Contacts, Call History, Speed Dial
or SIM Manager screens, you can take notes during a call. After you have nished the note,
it will be saved as an attachment to your call in one of the Call History folders.
1. During a call, tap the icon at the bottom of the screen.
2. Use any of the input methods to record your note and then tap OK. You can nish your
note during or after the call.
Viewing a note
n In the Call History list, tap-and-hold on the desired number, then tap View Note in the
pop-up menu.
n Or, go to Start menu > Programs > Notes, and then tap the name of the le in the list.

Turning on the speakerphone
Your device has a speakerphone, allowing you to talk hands-free or let other people listen
to the conversation.
1. Wait until the phone is ringing.
2. Hold down until the speakerphone comes ON and the icon appears in the status
bar.
3. To turn OFF the speakerphone hold down again.
To avoid damage to your hearing, do not leave your Pocket PC Phone on speakerphone
mode and hold it against your ear.
Muting a call
You can mute your microphone during a call so that you can hear the caller, without being
heard by the caller. In the Phone Dialer screen, tap to mute or un-mute a call.
