ISDN 8520T Voice/Data Terminal
The 8520T voice/data terminal is used with the Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN) com-
munication system through a 4-wire ‘‘T’’-interface. The 8520T voice/data terminal offers the fol-
lowing: 20 call appearance/feature buttons, each with a red and green status light, buttons for the
Mute, Redial, Conference, Drop, Transfer, and Hold features (the MUTE, SPEAKER, CONF, and
TRANSFER buttons have a red light next to them), a Speakerphone which can also be optioned
as a listen-only Speaker, a Volume control, improved acoustic quality with the K-type handset, an
Adjunct jack for adjunct equipment, and touch-tone dialing. Ten softkeys and four display control
buttons located on either side of the 7-line by 24-character liquid crystal display can be used to
access such features as a personal Directory, a Call Log which lists the most recent incoming
and outgoing calls, the Self-Test feature, and a personalized ringing pattern for the voice/data ter-
minal.
Applications
The 8520T voice/data terminal can be used with the DEFINITY G2 and G3. It can be used as a
voice terminal or a data terminal.
