ISDN 7505 Modular Terminal
ISDN 7506 Display Terminal
The 7506 Display terminal is used with the Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN) communi-
cation system through a 4-wire ‘‘T’’-interface. The modular 7506 is a voice terminal when
equipped with a Voice Only Module (VOM). As a telephone, it offers programmable buttons,
fixed feature buttons, a Message light, touch-tone dialing, and a built-in, programmable speaker-
phone or SPOKESMAN loudspeaker. The speakerphone can be programmed at the terminal by
the user for one of three states: On, Disabled, and SPOKESMAN loudspeaker. The 7506 can be
equipped with an optional Asynchronous Data Module (ADM) that provides the user with simul-
taneous voice and data capabilities. The 7506 equipped with the ADM offers the same voice
capabilities as the 7506 equipped with the VOM, plus it allows attached data terminals or per-
sonal computers to send and receive asynchronous data through the digital network. Both ver-
sions of the 7506 display terminal are equipped with a two-line, 24-character display.
Note: The 7506 voice terminal is no longer being manufactured.
Applications
The 7506 display terminal can be used with the DEFINITY G1, G2, and G3. Typical applications
of the terminal are users requiring a large number of line appearances with or without data. It is
particularly useful for middle managers.
