Lights
Table 3-1. Light Patterns for System Phones
Each line button, calling feature button, and Auto Dial button has a green light
and a red light. The meaning of these lights varies, depending on whether a
button is used to access an outside line, a calling feature, or an intercom Auto
Dial number.
Table 3-1 shows the meanings of the various light patterns for each possible
button assignment.

Line is in use. Green means you are

connected in a conference call.

Wink
A call on the line is on hold. Green
wink means the call is on hold at your

extension. Red wink means the call is
on hold at another extension. (Anyone
who has the line can retrieve the call.)
Flutter Green flutter means a conference call
on your line is on hold.
