jacks (where the lines from the local
telephone company end) before connecting
outside lines to the system modules. For the
test, connect a standard phone to the first
network interface jack.
Lift the handset and listen for dial tone. (If you
do not hear dial tone, contact your local phone
company and ask a representative to check
the service before continuing.)
Repeat for each network interface jack.
Connect line cords to the line jacks on the
module(s), starting with the top line jack on
the first system module.
Continue connecting line cords to the line jacks
in numerical order.
Route each cord through the hook on the lower
front of the module.
