19. Touch-Screen Features
19.7.3 Add a Memo (cont’d)
To use the keyboard to enter printed
text in the drawing area:
1. Choose the text color by selecting
the
Pen Color . A pop-up menu
with available colors will appear. The
currently selected color is outlined.
Select the color you would like your
text to be, and the menu will close.
2. Select Text
. Touch any point in
the drawing area where you would
like your text to begin. The keyboard
will then appear. Type your message
and touch
Enter. The text will appear
in the memo with your selected color.
To change the color of the
background of your memo:
1. Select
Background . A pop-up
menu with available colors will appear.
2. Select the background color of your
choice from the available color options
and the menu will close. Your
background color will be changed.
To change the color of the pen when
drawing lines:
1. Select Pen Color . A pop-up menu
with available colors will appear. The
currently selected color is highlighted.
2. Select the color you would like your
pen to be and the menu will close. All
new drawings will appear in the newly
selected color.
To change the width of the pen for
drawing:
1. Touch and hold the Pen Width
.
A pop-up menu will appear, showing
available widths to choose from. The
currently selected width is outlined.
2. Select the width and the menu will
close. All new drawings will be the width
you selected.
To place a pre-defined expression onto
the drawing area:
1. Select Expressions
. A pop-up menu
will appear with a series of expressions
to choose from.
2. Select an expression of your choice.
Touch the location in the drawing area
where you would like to place it. Your
selected expression will be drawn.
Tip:
When placing an expression on a
memo, if you touch, hold and drag, you
can adjust its location. This can only be
done when you first place it on the memo.
