8.2 Parking or Charging the Handset
(Battery)
Prior to using your Verizon One Handset
for the first time, the Handset Battery
must be fully charged. To charge the
Handset, place the Handset into the
cradle with the keypad face down so
that the contacts on the Handset touch
the contacts on the Base Unit. Allow the
battery to charge for approximately 12
hours prior to initial use. During normal
operation when the Handset is not in use,
park the Handset (face down) into the
Base Unit with contacts touching. This will
maintain your Handset’s charge.
Note: To charge the Handset initially,
allow the Handset and battery to charge
for 12 hours. Whenever the Handset
battery needs recharging, the battery
icon on the Handset’s LCD will flash.

Slide the Handset face down into the cradle
of Base so that the contacts touch.
