19.2 Voice Mail
The Voice Mail tab works with Verizon
Voice Mail Service. You must be a
current Verizon Home Voice Mail
subscriber to use this feature. If you
are a current subscriber, select
Set-
up. This will allow you to enter in your
Verizon Voice Mail Access Number.
Once you have entered your Voice Mail
access number and selected
Done to
save, use the Dial Voice Mail
selection
to check your messages.
Note: You
can insert a comma following the access
number entry to designate a pause in
the number sequence.
For Verizon Home Voice Mail
subs
cribers who also subscribe to the
Verizon
iobi Home service, the Voice
Mail tab will display an on-screen visual
list of your Voice Mail messages, and
you can listen to them in any order.
19.3 Speed Dial
One-touch dial a phone number from a
list of your saved Speed Dial positions.
19.3.1 Add a Contact to Your Speed
Dial List
1. Select Speed Dial from the
Menu.
2. On the Speed Dial screen, sel
ect
to go to the Emergency
Numbers screen or pick an “empty”
Dial position from 1-9 to add a
Speed Dial (e.g.
).
3. On the entry screen for this Speed
Dial position, select
or touch the
entry fi eld to access the keyboard to
enter the
Name and Phone Number
of the person or business you would
like to add to your Speed Dial list.
The position number at the top of the
screen will be the Speed Dial number
for this person or business from now on
(unless you choose to change this entry in
the future).
Tip:
When entering a phone number on
the keypad, use ONLY ten digits (area
code + phone number). Do NOT enter a
“1” before the area code.
