MT8850A / MT8852A Bluetooth Test Set Using the Script Menu
Power Control Test Results (standard and null packet modes)
1. Choose “Power control” from the Script menu.
2. Press the
[Results] soft key.
The Power control results screen is displayed.
Definition of test results
Power max Displays the maximum power the EUT has risen to in the test.
Power min Displays the minimum power the EUT has dropped to in the test.
Current Pkt Displays the average power of the last packet measured by the
MT8852A. The MT8850A/MT8852A identifies the p0 in the packet and
measures the power in each individual bit. Packet avg is the average
power of all the measured bits.
Max step Displays the largest change between the power level steps.
Min step Display the smallest change between the power level steps.
3. Press the
[Extended] soft key to display more detailed test results. As opposed to
the summary screen shown above, the extended screens are specific to each
frequency.
4. Page through the extended screens with the soft key in the normal manner, or press
the [Summary] soft key to revert to the initial summary page.
Single payload mode
This test cannot be performed in single payload mode.
