MT8850A / MT8852A Bluetooth Test Set Using the Script Menu
Multi-Slot Sensitivity Test (Single Payload Mode)
For a multi slot sensitivity measurement the MT8850A/MT8852A transmits the longest
supported packet type as reported by the EUT during link set up with a pseudo random
payload (PRBS 9) to the EUT at a minimum power level. The EUT loops back the received
data and a bit error rate (BER) calculation and frame error rate (FER) calculation is
performed by the MT8850A/MT8852A test set. This test can be performed with hopping on
or off.
1. Refer to the settings below to enable the multi-slot sensitivity test in the test list.
Test control: Loopback
Payload: PRBS9
Packet type: DH3 or DH5
Hopping mode: On or Off
2. Choose “Multi sensitivity” from the Script menu.
3. Press the
key to select or deselect this test from the script routine.
4. If a test is selected, the box will be filled in. If not selected the box will be hollow.
5. Press the
[Setup] soft key.
6. The Multi sensitivity test limits screen.
7. Press the
[Defaults] soft key to restore the default values.
8. Choose the limit you want to change.
9. Press the
key and enter the new limit using the keypad.
10. Press the
[Enter] soft key.
11. Press the
key to return to the Script menu.
