To Connect to a PBX
When to use Before you start the Proxy Agent, connect to each PBX that you
want the Proxy Agent to monitor. This step is necessary to capture
the login and password information.
You can connect to a PBX while you are using the Proxy Agent.
Starting too
soon
If you start the Proxy Agent before logging into a PBX and saving
the login and password, the Proxy Agent will not successfully
establish a connection with the PBX.
Procedure Start on the G3-MA Main Menu.
Step Action
1 Enter communication.
Result: The Communication Manager screen displays.
2Press
Ctrl-y and select a system ID from the help
window for Connection 1. Repeat this step for each
additional connection.
Hint: To select an item from a help window, move the
cursor to the item and press
Enter.
