To Assign Devices to the Proxy Agent
Step Action
1 Open the Devices file.
2 Locate the device you want to edit.
3 Insert a g in front of the modem speed.
Example: ACU ttysxx,M - g9600 hayes
4 Do you want to establish multiple, simultaneous
connections?
■ If yes, go to step 5.
■ If no, go to step 6.
5 Repeat step 3 for each additional device for which you
want to establish a Proxy Agent connection.
Hint: If you have other software packages that need
devices for connections, do not edit
all
the devices in
the file.
6 Write and quit the file.
