Introduction This section explains the path the alarm takes from the PBX to the
Proxy Agent.
Dial-up
connections
You can use a number of possible specific connections for dial-up
connections from the switch, including connections over:
The public telephone network
A private network
Alarm
reception
The following diagram shows the correct configuration for the
modem that receives alarms.
