File Sharing
Use the built-in USB 2.0 port to share files on a USB memory stick or a USB hard drive (B). You can
connect one USB hard drive to the VMG at a time. Use FTP to access the files on the USB device.

The following graphic displays the labels of the LEDs.
None of the LEDs are on if the VMG is not receiving power.

LED COLOR STATUS DESCRIPTION
PWR/SYS Green On The VMG is receiving power and ready for use.
Blinking The VMG is self-testing.
Red On The VMG detected an error while self-testing, or there is a device
malfunction.
Off The VMG is not receiving power.
DSL Green On The ADSL line is up.
Blinking The VMG is initializing the ADSL line.
Orange On The VDSL line is up.
Blinking The VMG is initializing the VDSL line.
Off The DSL line is down.
