Hot Desking
To Log in a Hot Desk Phone
1. Press the HotDesk softkey.
2. Press the Login softkey.
3. Enter your Hot Desk User Extension Number
4. Press the OK softkey.
To Log Out of a Hot Desk 5230 IP Appliance
1. Press the HotDesk softkey.
2. Press the Logout softkey.
3. Press the Confirm softkey.
Feature Access Codes
Feature Access Codes (FACs) are used to access telephony features using the dialpad.
Call Forward End Chaining
To enable/disable Call Forward End Chaining
• To enable Call Forward End Chaining, dial the Call Forward End Chaining FAC, then
hang up.
• To cancel Call Forward End Chaining, dial the Cancel Call Forward End Chaining FAC,
then hang up.
Note: You can only log in when the phone is idle.
Note: You can only log out when the phone is idle.
Note: Not all features may be available on your system. Talk to your system
administrator for information on which features are available, and what their feature
codes are.
