Using the NI / 5E Custom Terminal Set-Up
Call Announce Intercom allows you to specify which
call buttons are activated by Call Announce
Intercom Call Screeners, and allows you to select
up to three Call Screeners.
Note: Call Announce Intercom is distinct from
Network (Switch provided) intercom.
The Call Announce feature utilizes a Ringer Always
On mode. Ringer Always On sends a tone to users
each time a Call Screener activates Call Announce
Intercom (regardless of the ringer mode).

This section describes the requirements for setting
up Call Announce Intercom followed by the
procedures to use Call Announce Intercom to
announce a call.
Before selecting DNs for call screeners, you may
specify the CA buttons that are to be answered
automatically. You may select “ALL” buttons or select
the desired CAs.
To enable or disable Call Announce Intercom on
selected buttons, follow these steps:
