These locations are only accessible to people with access to the
maintenance Passcode.
Start a Maintenance Session. Press “*” (Speed Dial Setup) and follow
the directions as described in Section C1.
D. Set-Up Capabilities for SATCOM
The addition of a SATCOM connection to the C-2000 system allows
for additional set-up capabilities. The previously described Setup and
Maintenance features still apply, including Starting a Maintenance
Session. General system/handset selections such as Billing Mode,
Station Setup, Ringer Control, Call Alerter Functions, and Handset
Attributes apply independently of link selection.
D1. Setting the Station Default Link
The default communication link set from the factory is Air-Ground.
Each handset’s default link may be set individually.
a. Air-Ground. Start a Maintenance Session. Press “+” (More) and
then press “4” (Link) followed by a “1” (Air-Ground).
b. SATCOM. Start a Maintenance Session. Press “+” (More) and then
press “4” (Link) followed by a “2” (Satcom).
NOTE: The GroundCell and HF communication links, if available, cannot be set
as a default link.
