H. Ground-to-Air Calls
The ground-to-air calling feature allows the air traveler to be “called”
while in-flight by a party on the ground. Once called, the air traveler
may accept the call immediately or save the calling number to be re-
dialed at a later time.
There are three types of aircall numbers: station (number assigned to
each handset), aircraft (number assigned to the aircraft), and personal
(number assigned to individual customers via Airfone Cards). The dif-
ference between them is the handset activation process. Calls to any
aircall number are initiated from the ground in the same manner.
