C. Programming Speed Dial Numbers
C1. Speed Dial Locations *550 to *599
(This is a System Function)
These locations are accessible to and may be modified by any handset
user.
Place the digital handset off-hook. Press “9” (Setup) and press “*”
(Speed Dial Setup). Enter the telephone number you wish to store by
the format below:
Service Requested:
1 - Voice
3 - Fax
4 - Modem
5 - TDD
Then enter Area Code + Number.
For international calls, enter Service Requested (as above), then “011”
+ Country Code + City Code + Number. Press “+” (OK) if the digits
have been entered correctly. Then enter the speed dial number (550-
599) you want associated with the telephone number. To store the
number press “+” (OK).
To receive on-screen instructions for entering the 10-character alpha-
numeric label associated with the assigned speed dial number, press
“0” (Help).
There are four different character lists: punctuation characters, upper
case letters, lower case letters, and digits. By pressing “5” you may
switch between the various lists.
To move up a list (A-Z, a-z, 0-9) press “6.” To move down a list (Z-A,
z-a, 9-0) press “4.”
To move the cursor to the next label space, press “*” (Cursor). If you
need to return to a previous label space, continue to press “*” (Cursor).
To accept the label, press “+” (OK/Next). You will be prompted for the
next speed dial number.
To accept the label and return to the main menu, press “#.” If you
make a mistake entering a phone number, press “*” (Clear) to clear
the entry and re-enter the correct number.
