The handset cord has the same plug at each
end. Plug one end of the handset cord into the
handset.
Plug the other end into the socket marked with a
handset
on the underside of machine and
thread the cord through the channel.
Place the handset on the hook.
Plan the location of your
PaperJet 100
Situate your PaperJet 100 close enough to the
phone and mains power sockets so that the cables
will reach.
Do not stand it on carpets or other similar
surfaces that generate fibres.

Connect the handset
If you do not have a modern phone socket, call
Freephone
0800 800 150 and ask for a BT
engineer to come and fit the correct socket.
This is a chargeable service.
If you wish your PaperJet 100 to work with an
answering machine, the answering machine
must be connected at the back of the doubler
plug as shown above (see page 29).

Follow these steps to set up your PaperJet 100.
