Tip To show or hide the Quick Menu from the Today screen, tap Start > Settings
> System tab > Task Manager > Button tab then select or clear the Enable
Quick Menu on Today screen check box.
On program screens, you normally see an Exit button ( ) on the top
right corner of the screen. You can set the Task Manager to stop running
programs when you tap the Exit button by following these steps:
1. Tap Options on the Quick Menu, or tap Start > Settings > System
tab > Task Manager.
2. Tap the Button tab.
3. Select the Enable the “X” button to end running programs check
box.
Note If this option is not enabled, programs will continue to run in the
background and tapping the Exit button will only close the program
screen, not end the program.
4. Choose either to:
• End programs by tapping “X”; or
• End programs by tapping and holding “X”
5. Tap OK.
