Purge
You can specify a certain period based on the CLIE handheld calendar and
discard any schedules that were formed before your specified date. This
saves the memory space of your CLIE handheld. This command opens the
“Purge” dialog box. Tap “OK” to carry out the discard function and
“Cancel” to cancel the discard function.
Notes
• When you execute the discard function, any repeated events that expire before the
specified date will be deleted.
• By default, all events you discard are restored when a HotSync operation with a
computer is executed. To delete the events completely, tap and deselect the “Save
archive copy on PC” check box in the “Delete Event” dialog box.
Beam Event
Sends the current event to another CLIE handheld via the infrared
communications port.
Options menu
Font
You can select the fonts of the Date Book. The “Select Font” dialog box
appears when you choose this menu item.
Preferences
• Start/End Time: Defines the start and end times for Date Book screens.
If the time slots you select do not fit on one screen, you can tap the scroll
arrows
to scroll up and down.
• Alarm Preset: Automatically sets an alarm for each new event. The
silent alarm for untimed events is defined by minutes, days, or hours
before midnight of the date of the event.
• Alarm Sound: Sets the tone of the alarm.
• Remind Me: Defines how many times the alarm sounds. The choices are
Once, Twice, 3 Times, 5 Times, and 10 Times.
• Play Every: Defines how often the alarm gets off. The choices are 1
minute, 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 10 minutes or 30 minutes.
