5 Enter a profile name and click “OK.”
6 Repeat steps 4 and 5 for each profile to be created.
7 Click “OK.”
8 Select the profiles you want to edit from the “User” list, and
create data such as a company phone list.
Transferring a created profile
1 Place on the cradle a CLIE handheld for which a User ID is
not yet specified.
2 Press the HotSync button on the cradle.
The “Users” dialog box appears.
3 Click “Profiles.”
The “Profiles” dialog box appears.
4 Select the profile you want to transfer to the CLIE handheld,
and click “OK.”
5 Click “Yes.”
The selected profile will be sent to the CLIE handheld.
Next time you perform a HotSync operation, the Palm Desktop for
Sony software shows a dialog box where you can specify a user name
for this CLIE handheld.
