Setting the auto shutoff
Your CLIE handheld automatically turns off the power and backlight after
a period of inactivity, to conserve battery power.
You can define when your CLIE handheld automatically turns off.
1 On the “Preferences” screen, select “General” from the drop-
down list in the upper-right corner.
2 Tap the “Auto-off after” drop-down list and tap an option.
You can select 30 seconds, 1 minute, 2 minutes, or 3 minutes.
3 If you do not want your CLIE handheld to turn off
automatically while it is connected to the cradle, tap the
“Stay on Cradle” check box to set to on.
