Installing applications from a
Memory Stick media
The supplied Memory Stick media contains the following add-on
applications and data.
• PictureGear Pocket (with samples for still pictures)
• gMedia (with samples of moving pictures)
MS Gate lets you install these applications and data on your CLIE
handheld.
1 Insert the supplied Memory Stick media into the Memory
Stick slot of your CLIE handheld.
2 Start “MS Gate” on your CLIE handheld.
3 Press the Jog Dial.
The contents of the Memory Stick media appear.
4 Tap the application you want to install.
5 Tap “Copy.”
The selected application is installed on your CLIE handheld.

The supplied Installation CD-ROM also contains applications and data contained on your
Memory Stick media.
You can install them from the Palm Desktop for Sony software by performing a HotSync
operation. For more information about installation, refer to “Installing applications from a
computer” on page 180.
