4 From a list of “User,” select a user name to use.
5 Click “Add.”
The “Open File” dialog box appears.
6 Specify the application you want to install on the CLIE
handheld, and click “Open.”
In the “Install Tool” dialog box, a list of specified applications is
displayed.
If unnecessary applications are displayed in the list of applications to
install, you can select unnecessary applications and click “Delete” to
delete them.
7 Click “Exit.”
8 Run the local HotSync.
The application you selected in step 6 will be installed on the CLIE
handheld. See “Performing a HotSync operation” on page 164 for
more details about the local HotSync.

“Start” menu, you can directly display
the “Install Tool” dialog box.
If you click “Start,” and select “Programs” - “CLIE Handheld” - “Install
Tool,” the “Install Tool” dialog box appears.
Also, if you double-click a .prc format file, the “Install Tool” dialog box is
displayed.
