If you chose to save the new contact to the Phone, select the type
of the number to be stored: Mobile, Home, Office, Fax or Other.
To select the category, press the Up or Down key and press the
Select soft key.
If you chose to save the new contact to the SIM, skip this step.
4. Enter a name for your contact. For further details about entering
characters, see “Entering Text” on page 29.
♦To add an email address for this contact, scroll down to Email.
Enter the email address.
♦To add a custom picture ID, scroll down to Picture ID and
press . Select Take picture to get a new photo or select a
Picture ID category. Highlight the desired image and press .
♦To add a custom ringtones, scroll down to Ringtone and
press . Select a Ringtone category. Highlight the desired
ringtone and press .
♦To add this contact to a group, scroll down to Group and press
. For more information, see “Adding a contact to the Group”
on page 111.
♦To add a note for this contact, scroll down to Memo. Enter the
email address.
5. When you are finished, press the Save soft key.
Storing a Number Using the Contacts Menu
1. In Idle mode, press the Menu soft key to access the menu.
2. Select Contacts and press the Select soft key or the key.
3. Scroll to Add new contact by pressing the Up or Down key and
press the Select soft key.
4. Select a memory location, either SIM or Phone, by pressing the
Up or Down key and press the Select soft key. Email address can
only be saved in the phone.
