To perform a consultative transfer:
1. During a call, tap the Transfer soft key or press . The active call is
placed on hold.
The Transfer to: screen displays.
2. Place a call to the party to whom you want to transfer the call. See
Placing Calls on page 3-6.
3. After the party answers, tap the Transfer soft key or press .
If you are using a handset, the transfer can be completed by putting the
handset on the cradle.
You can cancel the transfer before the call connects by tapping the
Cancel soft key.
