Optionally, you can register this server’s name on your DNS server(s). If
you do, you can then use the hostname to access the server, rather that
the IP address.

At this point, the server is ready to be shut down and moved to the
network segment on which it will reside. To shut down the server, enter
the next command.

Reconfiguration
Sample Script
This script was run on a primary VCX Connect server in order to configure
the network parameters and additional configuration parameters. If you
run this script on a secondary VCX Connect server, the script questions
are identical, but your answers must be changed slightly for the
secondary server.
To run this script, you must be logged in to the root account on the
server.
Throughout the script sample, comments are provided immediately after
the section of the script to which they apply. Comments appear in a
different type face and are indented for easy identification.
Default answers are enclosed in square brackets (for example, [yes]). To
accept the default answer to any question/prompt, press the Enter or
Return key.
To start the script, enter this command:
vcx-reconfigure
