Using the base station answering machine

To change the number of mailboxes, select the appropriate number.
Example:
You are in the entry field of the Mailboxes: line
◆ Press r "1" to activate mailbox 1,
◆ Press r "2" to activate two mailboxes (1 and 2),
◆ Press r "3" to activate three mailboxes (1, 2 and 3).
After switching the answering machine on, you will be told the remaining memory
time, the × icon appears in the display and the ö key on the base station lights up.
If the memory is full when in the Ans. & Record mode, the answering machine auto-
matically switches to Announce Only mode if an advisory announcement has been
recorded (page 66). If there is no advisory announcement, the answering machine
switches itself off. Delete old messages. After the messages have been deleted, the
answering machine automatically returns to the original mode set.
